We want to encourage everyone to be creative, with activities and games aimed particularly at young people and those in need of social integration.
We are gradually developing activities for these audiences, starting with children. We’ve created an activity aimed at CM1/CM2 classes, designed to involve these children in Marc Seguin’s creative process when he designed and built the first cable suspension bridge in Tournon. Another activity on the same theme will be developed shortly for secondary school pupils.
If you are a teacher (or a leader of a day-care centre or holiday camp) interested in these activities, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Residencies will be offered to artists and researchers on themes related to those addressed by the Seguin. They will generally be of the art-science type.
These residencies will be participatory: they will involve classes from elementary, middle, or high schools, as well as other audiences who will engage in the creative process.
A residency dedicated to biodiversity is currently being prepared. A herbarium of species inventoried in Annonay in 1872 will serve as the basis for a comparative analysis conducted by students from an agricultural high school, illustrated by art students from another high school. In addition, meetings will be organised with the local public to encourage it to continue this practice of inventorying flora for the benefit of our Regional Natural Park.
